First you need to understand that your internet connection to your service provider can be just fine with no problems. However, your game data has to go through many links in between you and the game servers. Any one of those links can be have excessive traffic or have a problem that can slow down the transfer to and from the servers for you which can cause you game to be slow and freeze a lot.
Slashkey does not own, control or monitor those links between you and the servers, so the only thing you can do is wait and hope that whoever owns those links realizes they have a problem and can get it back to normal. You may not have anything else slow only because your path to those other locations are different after the signal leaves your service provider. I am sorry but there is nothing we or the developers can do to help with this.

My farms have ALWAYS been heavily layered and I never had these issues.

It may not be the game servers, but the game is definitely glitching.

What do we, the players, who spend money on this game need to do to get taken seriously and to get this looked into?

Hi Poppy,
What would you like us to look into? If the servers are working correctly that only leaves internet links between you and the servers and we have no control or way to check those as they are different for everyone.
You are taken seriously, but there is nothing we or the developers can do if it is not a problem on the servers and game program.
