It's like they think I am a beginner which, god knows, I am not. I am used going to someones farms and start working the first 20 of 40 farms, then the mayor takes over.
Since 2 days ago, when working others' farms I need to work say 20 of 40 farms one by one (style: take me there) for each product or service facility (sugar refinery, red mill, pub, shoe factory etc.) before the mayor takes over.

That makes at least double the time needed.

Is this a glitch or what?

I moved your post to the thread about Trains, as those are the key for your problem.

All trains in your farm 5 and farm6 are not dispatched. To get the Mayor working facilities you need trains dispatched or returned but not unloaded.

Your trains are unloaded and you didnt dispatch them again.

Im not sure if you know that if you have 2 trains with 10 different long cars on each train and they are dispatched or not unloaded, then the Mayor will work all facilities in all farms.

On your farm 5 you have 5 trains with a few long cars in each one. If you wish you could try to move some different long cars to the fastest 2 trains or purchase more to get 10 different long cars in each and then the Mayor will work everything for you.

If you decide to move some long cars or purchse more, Before dispatching the train, be sure all long cars are correctly attached.
To do that, click on the Locomotive and select 'Show Train Details'. The Long Freight Cars that are correctly coupled to your Locomotive will be highlighted in white. The ones that you don't own or that are not correctly coupled will be dimmed out.

I have 4 trains with 10 or more long cars. the button for dispatching all trains at once does not work. right now all trains are dispatched. Farms 14 and 18 have the trains on them. Please explain the problem.

Hi aceyducey

The problem is with your Standard train on farm 14.

It only has 9 long cars attached as the Gondola car is not a long car.

You need to wait for that train to be back, unload it and move the Gondola car and purchase the Long gondola to attach to it.

Please, Before dispatching the train, be sure all long cars are correctly attached.
To do that, click on the Locomotive and select 'Show Train Details'. The Long Freight Cars that are correctly coupled to your Locomotive will be highlighted in white. The ones that you don't own or that are not correctly coupled will be dimmed out.

Just a thing, the button is for boosting all your friends trains not to dispatch your own trains.

So I only just noticed this for answering a question for Taz in the Facility portions here.
I went to check my Trains in Train manager to see how many cars each dispatched train had without heading to the specific farm and counting and by clicking "Open" under each train it just shows 19 faded out long cars (My trains actually have 14, 12, 2 and 1 cars respectively with 2 decorative cars each on the longer ones for turning) is this normal? One would think it would show only the cars relevant to the Train you "open" even in dispatch mode.

Hi illusions fan,
You need to look at the Train Status tab and not the Freight Cars tab when you are looking in the Train Manager. The Status tab will show only the cars attached to the engine.

On my Farm #3 I have several trains. I have them all blocking each other and I can not add any cars or move the ones I have. Is there any way you could move them for me. Put them in storage and I will put them where I can get additional cars for each of my trains. Please let me know what I need to do if you can't help me move them. Thanks a million!!

Hi Bbaum,
I moved your post to the thread about the trains.

I am sorry but we can not move them for you. You need to wait until they have returned then unload them, but do not dispatch them again. When you have done that then you can move them either to storage and to another farm or shift them on the farm they are currently on. Once you have them placed the way you want them then you can dispatch them.
