So the game shows I've harvested "peas" on the quest screen, but when I click to produce the product the game says I have to produce "peas". Mods will probably tell me that I've done something wrong or not completed a step.

Hi Lisa

I moved your post to the thread about Quests.

I checked your data and you do not have any peas stored.

If you harvested them in your own farm and then used them in other facility before starting the quest step then that is why it is not starting.

Your data shows that you have peas planted in one of your farms. If they are ready then harvest a few of them and try the start the step again.

If they are not ready, then you have to wait to harvest them for the quest.

Also, you have the Gift lifeline for that quest so you can request for ingredients for Samosas w/ Chutney and when your friends send them, they will show up in your gift box. You need to store them to count into your quest.

I inadvertently FORGOT to plant a crop on a farm for a quest and have already watered and fertilized the farm. If I delete all the fields and replow then replant will I be able to water/fertilize?

This was a while ago and I've finished that quest.

Hi Lisa,
The watering and fertilizing are not reset by deleting the fields. The time for both of those stays the same. The fertilizing time of the farm will stay the same and any crops you plant on it again will be fertilized if it is still showing time. The watering though is specific to the crops planted at that time and can only work on those crops. You can not water a farm again in less than 20 hours.

Hi I tried buying a crop for a quest and it didn't recognize that I had. Do I need to click the lifeline FIRST? I thought just purchasing the ingredient would work

Looking back, I DID purchase tomatoes for that quest and it didn't acknowledge it.

I moved your post to the thread about quests.
Yes you have to have a lifeline before you can buy a crop and it has to be the trading lifeline. All 3 lifelines are listed and explained in the first post on the first page of this thread.
Without a lifeline you have to harvest the crop ingredient on your own farm yourself.

OK so I just got the "gift" lifeline. How can that help me with the Southland Cheese Roll quest?
