Default Problem with loading and dispatching ship

Hi there. I'm still having problems with the ships not dispatching after having the containers loaded.

I finished loading all 10 containers on my pink ship. When I went to dispatch the ship, the window turned pink, and the containers have "preparing container". They are counting down over and over. It says I have 22 hours and 30 minutes left to dispatch the ship. I can not click the dispatch button again.

Hi Karlene,
We do not see in your data it you previously prepared the containers or how many you have prepared at this time. According to the data we have you started preparing at 9:00 PM eastern time tonight.


If you started preparing the containers earlier than that, then you need to contact Supportabout this. To contact Support click on the link below, fill out the form and submit it. Be patient as it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days for them to respond to you depending on how many tickets they have ahead of yours.

You will receive an automatic response email when you submit your ticket. That email will have your ticket number and a link for you to check the status of your ticket, so please do not delete that email. If you do not see the email then check your spam folder as sometimes those emails get classified as spam.

We can not allow outside links in the forums. Only links allowed are to your farms or those within the forums.
How to add a picture in the forums have instructions in the following thread link:

I sent a ticket in to Support explaining the issue.

I waited a little while. I kept checking the window with the ship containers loading over and over. Then, the window closed. I thought all was lost. So, I clicked to open the pink ship and it was ready to dispatch. I clicked dispatch and it dispatched.

Hooray! Thanks for your patience. I'm not sure what happened, but I'm glad things worked out.

I love all the updates and growth. The game has come so far since it was just one 28x28 farm and every exciting expansion since then keeps me coming back and being an active player. TY for all that's been done.

I have two requests. In our shipping we've now been able to close ports if we're going to be away. It doesn't skip in the roto. The ship is red, shows closed port when scrolled over, but doesn't actually skip the port. Also, if it shows red in the individual manifest of players, can it please show red in the Shipping Manager page? I usually don't look at the manifest page until the ship has sat over 15 hours or more.

Hi iadiedee

For a port to be automatically skipped, the farmer has to close their port in their Preferences by unchecking the Enable ships option.

If they only set their status as unavailable then the port is not skipped.

This is the explanation from our Game Guide:

Mouseover a Port with a red background and you will see a tooltip with more information about how long they will be away for. For example it could show you This port is unavailable and will become operational in 4 days. They have not closed their Port, they might be expecting to be able to return to the game sooner than 4 days.

Remember that the pink background means that the farmer HAS disabled their port. They may not be participating with ships OR they may be away on a vacation for an extended time. Mouseover the Port and it will show you a tooltip saying This port is out of service. When the background colour is pink you may prefer to replace them with a port that is currently open.

If they do both things, set themselves as unavailable and disable their port the background in ships logbooks defaults to pink. They may not be away for long so if you own the Overhead Cranes you could self load their port if you wish or you can skip that port instead of replacing it. When this happens, you can still check how long they are away for in your Neighbours bar or in your Farmers Lists.



Farmers that have set their status as unavailble are shown up in red when you click in Ships Logbook.

When we moved away from Facebook, I was told that Buddies would be able to fill in ports on our ships. Was I imagining that? I have someone who I thought was a buddy that was on my last few ships but when I went to prep this ship, he isn't available, and I know his port is open.
