One thing I noticed is this is not affecting anything but Facebook games. I have one other facebook game I play and it too is affected. My non facebook games come up just fine as do all the other sites I visit on the internet. Hope this helps.

If you are using Facebook, then is it possible you are saying a black background with facebook games to the right of the game screen?

If that is what you see, then that is a change made by Facebook. You can click in the little arrow to the upper right of the screen. That way you will only see the game screen.
Sadly you have to do that everytime you load your farms or go to other farms.

I still use facebook as that's the only way I seem to be able to send and recieve gifts. The last time I tried using slashkey there was a notice about gifts, but no gifts, lol

Yes, we have to do the gifts through facebook but after that you can continue playing in the Websie.
Developers are working on the gifts for the Website.
