What happens if you remove a friend on your facebook account that you have as a neighbor/buddy on FT? I only added them previously on my facebook because we needed to so I no longer want them on my facebook account just as a FT neighbor. If I delete will I lose them on here?

Hi Smileyonebjc,
I moved your post to the Help & Support section thread about neighbors. The thread you posted in is only for asking for new neighbors & buddies, not for asking questions.
The answer to your question is no you will not lose them as a neighbor or buddy in Farm Town by removing them in your Facebook. Since Farm Town is no longer associated with Facebook then you do not have to be Facebook friends to be neighbors or buddies in Farm Town.

Hi, I just removed 3 of my neighbours and removed myself from their neighbour list because they are no longer playing. But.............. I was only able to add 2 neighbours instead of 3. This happened a few months ago too when I removed 3 neighbours. So now I am 2 neighbours down. Why is this? Thank you

Hi Vivienne

The Neighbors and Buddy Limits are based on how many digits the database can hold, it varies because not all IDs are the same length. ID's are normally 8 to 17 characters in length, so the number of neighbours/buddies you can have can vary.

But I already had those 3 neighbours so surely I should have been able to add 3 after I had removed them. This has happened twice. So if I remove a neighbour I should be able to add the same amount. With the utmost respect what you have said doesn't make sense and I have no idea what you mean....sorry

The information I gave to you was provided by the developers and it is included in the first post of this thread.

All of us have an ID number in the game. You can find yours by scrolling down the game page and you will see Your User ID number is:xxxxx

That is the number I was talking about.

If you had 3 neighbors with short id numbers, let say they had 10 digits each one for a total of 30 digits and then you delete them and add 2 neighbors with 15 digits each one in their id numbers, they both had a total of 30 digits. That is why you are not able to add another one.

That's terrible. How are we supposed to know if a neighbour has a long or short number. So either I stick with neighbours who don't play anymore or risk losing neighbours if I remove them. This is totally wrong and unfair and the developers should make this right.

It has always been that way, nothing has changed. Now in the new website you can have more neighbors and buddies than we had when we were in facebook.

But the limit with the id numbers was always the same and that determines when your list is full. The data base has a limit for id numbers it can hold.

Please remember that our Id numbers were given to us by facebook when we opened our accounts. But they didnt use the same length for those and the game inherited that.

I am a super neighbor, and the farms that I go to help another farmer, the harvest/plow is on, but not the harvest/plow/seed. Therefore, I am unable to seed for her, and all of the items including planting have been checked. What else can she check? Thanks.

Hi Yolieherman,
There is nothing else to check besides Harvesting, plowing and planting for crops. What happens if you try to plant for her?
She may need to remove you as a super neighbor, click the green check to save, then restart her farms and add you back as a super neighbor.
She needs to check too the super neighbor manager and make sure the farms you are trying to plant do not say None for them meaning no crops can be planted by you on that farm.
