I believe that the key when you get to the production facility step is to open the facility where the production item is made, and start ONLY the specific number required for the quest. I have to do olive oil, and I had the capacity to start 6 batches. My quest was to complete 1 batch of olive oil. I clicked start all, and sent 6 batches into production. When I opened the Quest, I had it indicate that I had to wait 6 hours for that step of the quest to complete. Since a batch of olive oil takes 1 hour to finish, and I started 6 with the ALL button, that would be why I got the 6 hour wait. Had I only started 1 batch, I would have only had a 1 hour wait. After the six hours, even through I didn't store ANY of the olive oil, the step changed to being completed.

The quests are definitely going to cause us to change our strategy on how we play. The ALL button on the individual production items and Facility START ALL buttons will cause us to have longer waits. So we will have to keep our active quests in mind when we go to the Facility Manager.

ok i think im getting my head around this, im due for second quest now. lets see how this works..

Oh wow! Just found the quests! AFTER I had planted all my fields! LOL They should be GREAT fun, though! I think I'm going to really love them. : )

ohhhhhhhhh kay i think i got it worked out now..

ive attached a pic, i individually started items for each of the steps - what is confusing people i think r the green and yellow highlighted areas telling u cant start one step until youve completed another..

my high numbers im guessing are from the "start all" error when i first when in..

so this should work how from now on in - will i complete the quest when the 10 pins r finished, or when those huge numbers finally roll over?

rob/taz your help is very much appreciated.. i get fustrated easily and youve been a big help.. normally i dont complain, but I could see others needing help too so I stuck with it.

and i think i figured out the trick to balancing off faciltiies for quests v facilties for products/xp - open you quest first before u run your facs for the day, use the empty space to get your quest stuff in, then load em up - repeat process 2mrwonce they have worked through.

OK.. to complete my first quest was great.. all done in basically an hour or so.. very happy. But it appeared I had to wait 18.5 hours to start a new quest.. thats crazy! Lost interest very quickly with this quest thing. Glad it isnt a vital part of the game!!

OH! lol.. thanks Taz .. thought I wasnt understanding it properly! I thought I read that you could have multiple quests going.. but that might be when you get longer quests.. the ones im getting at the moment are rather short! Thanks for your help!
