I have moved your post to the Help & Support thread about tools since this has nothing to do with the current release.
I see you have 28 farms and only 750 pigs in one pigsty. The dropping amount may be just that the farms are bigger and you are using more.

If you did not collect 4 hours ago and the time is saying 8 hours it may be that your computer time/date is not correct. The game uses your computer clock to determine times in the game.
