I'm thinking this wasn't a FT problem, however, because checking my list of FT neighbors, the person whom I couldn't gift did not show up as a neighbor. She showed at the bottom of the game screen and I could visit her FT farm, just not showing up as a neighbor. Doubt she "un-neighbored" me since I visit and tend her farm daily and usually gift, plus she's active in a cause ap that we both support.
So, probably just one of those weird temporary glitches all complex, interactive programs occasionally experience.

are you still FB friends with her? That's the only other explaination I can think of

Thanks for your reply, Lavenda. I just check my FB Friends list and she is still on it. I should take a look at her profile and see if she still has FT listed. Perhaps she dropped out of FT since she wasn't very active in it -- more into Maria Wars and FV, looks like. Maybe I'll ask her if she is still doing FT. Like I said, not a big thing, but it got me curious about what may have happened, if a glitch of something.
