How to use the Avatar Menu to Send a Neighbour or Buddy Request.
These Requests all require the farmer who receives the request to accept the request before you can have that farmer as a Neighbour or Buddy.
You both need to be online in the game. Look top right of your game screen, if this icon is red you are offline, click on it to go back online or reload the game.
You need to be able to see each other in the same location.
You can meet up on any farm that isn't private.
You can see farmers online at one of the Markets, the Realtors or the Inn.
To go to one of these areas, click on the MAP icon bottom right of your game screen then click on the area you want to go to.
To Send a Neighbour Request, click on an Avatar and and a menu will appear.
If the farmer is already a Neighbour or a Buddy that will be indicated just below their avatar name.
If there is no indication that they are already a Neighbour or a Buddy, scroll down to Add to Neighbours, when it turns orange, click on it.
To Send a Buddy Request, click on an Avatar and and a menu will appear.

When you send a Request the farmer receiving the request will see a message like this, with some options. It will be up to them to accept or decline the request and if they also what to add you to one of their own lists.

If there is no response, the farmer may have clicked the little x in the top of the message, or left that area, or already gone offline by the time you sent it.
