In your first post you said that you were seeing
Invalid email address or password, please try again. Is that no longer the case?
When you load the game are you now seeing the first big window? If you are then you have restarted registration.
Then when you completed this smaller window and clicked on Verify Login:
Did you also see this next popup:
If you did not see that Credentials Verified popup. Could you have noticed any slowdown in loading your farms before you saw the windows where you enter your email and password?
If you did, it might be that the click on Verify Login in didn't work and what was clicked on by mistake was on the red text in the smaller window which would restart your registration again.
If you are sure that none of the above apply and you have another email address that you would keep active by using it, you could try changing the email address and use that to register. Gmail tends to be very reliable but what you want to use is of course always up to you.
