Hi kittredgerobinc,
If this was your first few loads of the game on your new computer then it's normal for those to be slow as your computer has to get all the graphics for what is on you farms. You should find it faster once those are all done and you have reloaded a few times.
If you have not done so already, please make sure that you have also checked that the browsers you are using are all up to date.
