I've had the same trouble this morning.
I tried to 'hire multiple' about a dozen times, refreshed and reloaded just in case, and got no responses at all. No decline message, nothing, as if the message did not go through. There was a floating hiring confirmation each time, so I know all the requests were sent.
I was eventually able to hire one person for harvest & plow, but they did not plow. I don't know if they didn't have both implements available, only got the harvest request, or if they just didn't feel like plowing.
anyone else having the same trouble?
