Neighbors & Super Neighbors
 

Important Things to Remember:


1. ALL requests are counted towards your daily limit. Therefore, send out Neighbor requests BEFORE gift requests.


2. For two players to become neighbors with each other, BOTH players need to send out and accept neighbor requests.

• If you want a friend as a Neighbour, YOU must send the request for them to accept.
• If they want you as a Neighbour, THEY must send you a request for you to accept.

3. The Neighbors Limit is based on how many digits the database can hold, it varies because not all IDs are the same length. ID's are normally 8 to 15 characters in length, so the number of neighbours you can have can vary from 80 to around 110, depending on the ID's. At the present time, it is a limitation of the game, and can't be increased.

When you reach your limit of neighbors, in the My Neighbours tab, you will see some red text near the top of the page telling you that you have reached your limit. It looks like this:

When this happens, you can not add more neighbours.
What you CAN do, is see if any of your current neighbours have stopped playing. If they have you can decide whether or not to replace them with someone who is currently active in the game.
To change your neighbours, you will need to remove some before you can add more.
Look in the My Neighbours tab and use the following filter option:

Sort Players By: "Activity" and remove the check mark for "Show Active Players Only"

Then look at the dates showing in each of your friends boxes with a blue background, to see if anyone has not played in a while that you can remove as a neighbour to add someone else.

4. The Super Neighbors Limit is also based on Neighbours ID's. Approximately 20 Neighbors should be fine. If you try to add a super neighbour and have run out of room to add any more you will see a popup telling you that.

• To find out how many Super Neighbours you have, click on anyone's picture in the Neighbours bar at the bottom of the game screen and click on "Order by Super-Neighbour". Then count all the ones with a red dot on their picture. You may need to scroll the Neighbours bar if you have more than a few.
• Neighbours with purple dot are the friends who have set you as their Super Neighbour.

5. If you want to remove someone from being your friend on Facebook Go to their farm FIRST and make sure you remove yourself as being their Neighbour and Buddy, then remove them as your Neighbour before you remove the friend connection. 6. Archived Farms. Farms that have not been played in some time will become 'archived'. So if you notice a neighbors farm is empty this is likely what has happened. You will see a message telling you what the farm owner needs to do. Once that user visits the game, their farm will be reinstated.


7. Visiting/Tending Neighbors. You earn 30 XP for each neighbor whose farm you tend (watering, raking, etc) within a 24-hour period up to a limit of 100 visits. After that you will earn 1 XP. You can only tend each neighbor once a day.

why aren't Super Neighbours getting experience point when working on neighbours? farms

They get xp according to the job they do. If you ask about the bonus chest, then that is only given to strangers hired at market.

However, You can still sell things by clicking the storage icon and then click the blue button to 'Sell at Market' Tho you wont actually go to the market, it does open the market selling screen as if you were there.

so super neighbours only get xp for harvesting crops and watering flowers?

A superneighbor is a farmer who is continuesly hired as you give them permissions to do jobs on your farms. Those jobs include Planting if you give them permission.


If you hire a stranger at market, then that stranger will receive the same as your superneighbor plus the bonus chest. But they will not able to plant your farms.

Can someone please tell me how to set the preferred crop for Super Neighbors to plant. I have tried to figure this out myself but no joy. :confused:

i went through the hiring game guide and i didn't see the amounts listed for SN, just that we get large boxes.

what percentage of the fish/trees/flowers and selling price do we get from not being hired since we are SN?

I moved your post to the subject thread about Super Neighbors. Super Neighbors get exactly what any neighbor would for working on your farms, so that information is in the Game Guide chapter about hiring.

I am a Super Neighbor on 3 other farms and this morning I went to them and harvested and plowed and planted, BUT my neighbors informed me that the planting did not "Take". In other words there were no crops planted. It has been working up until today.

This is a known issue that has just started last night. We have reported it to the developers and hopefully they will fix it soon.

Fields (Seeds) Disappearing After They Have Been Sowed
 

My Super Neighbor worked on five of my farms and sowed and irrigated the fields but when I went to those fields, they didn't have anything planted but the farm had been irrigated. My Super Neighbor went back and replanted on those fields but could not irrigate because it had already been done. I came into my farm today and see that once again, the seeds did not take. I know for a FACT that my Super Neighbor did all of this because it was myself, through my husband's account.

We were able to reproduce the issue and sent it to the developers.

It seems it happens when you use any of the Seeders to plant, so while we wait for a fix, please try to use any of the Combine Harvest/Plant.

This is very unfortunate, as I have only a very small combine harvest/plant machine and it will take so very long for me to do the work :(

Plant feature not working
 

When visiting my super neighbor farms i am unable to plant even though they have granted me to. do we have to use the Harvest. plow and Sow tool?

There is currently a problem using the seeders, so it is better to use any combine Harvest/plow/plant.

is odd, I can do all other work on my S/N but cant plant .. I man, I plant but doesn't stick ... shows a plowed field .. :(

Then they will have to do their own planting or another SN with the combine will have to do those until this is fixed.

Hi! My friend and game neighbor Vicki can't sign in on to the forum. She lost the password to the old email she used when she first set up the game, and is now using a different email. Her old email when she started playing was (removed email) and now she is using . She no longer remember the password to the amethyst one. Her facebook is Vicki Fulton. Can someone email her at her new email address (removed email) and let her know to sign back into the forum? She is missing some facilities and wanted to let you know. THANK YOU. Please let me know if this can be done or if there is something else she needs to do.

What is the max # of Neighbors you can have (if there is one?)?

You only have 36 neighbours at the moment so you have plenty room to add more neighbours.

The benefit for you is you do not have to hire them every time you have work. It is a permanent hire.
Super neighbors are neighbors and get the same amounts as a neighbor you hire individually to work on your farms. There isn't any additional benefit just because they are permanently hired as a super neighbor.

get the same amounts: that is what I wanted to know but I can't find any documents explaining what exactly it is they earn: xp? coins? % of the crops or fruit trees etc...

farms being watered?
 

I have had problems in the last couple of weeks with my farms being irrigated...ALL of them, even in they didn't need it...and it was done at 0300-0400 in the morning!!! I like to water my crops after I plant and after I harvest...now I have to wait until the next day. I know this is happening because all my farms were watered at the same time..but when I went to bed, only the ones I had planted were watered. (I did this on purpose to make sure i wasn't losing my mind!!)
It is happening almost every night.

Hi Diana,
You have 8 super neighbors. Any one of them could be doing this. I am sorry, but there isn't anything we can do concerning this. You will need to either talk to them and get them to stop doing this or remove them as super neighbors.

crop watering
 

i understand about the super neighbors, however, they used to only be able to water the flowers, not the crops and trees? has that changed? I have never had this problem before and I have had super neighbors for a long time.....now, when they water whatever they are watering, it covers everything.....

Yes the super neighbors can water everything as long as you have the mobile sprinklers for those jobs. It depends on which sprinkler they use. You might want to talk to your super neighbors if you do not want them doing that to make sure they use the sprinkler that is only for flowers.
