You are not registering each day. You registered the first time and all the times afterwards are verifying the information. The pop up you are getting after you registered is the second one for verification. There is now also a way to give Farm Town access to your email you use in Facebook as an alternative method to log in in case you forget the primary method. You can find all this information in the Game Guide Chapter 1: http://www.slashkey.com/forum/showth...50#post6531050 |
I have registered and verified five times already.
It does not stop. It is making me crazy. Like wanting to quit forever. |

The registrations were reset once when there was an error discovered that was affecting some so it has continued on slightly longer. It should stop for you soon. |
Giving permission of my friend list to send gifts
I don't see why Slashkey needs to have my friend list from my Facebook account. Most of my Facebook friends are family and friends who don't play Farm Town. Why do you need to see all my friends?

That has always been needed for you to interact with and have neighbors as they have to be Facebook friends with you. That does not have anything with the current registration as what they need is to be allowed to verify your email address you use for Facebook as the alternative login method for the stand alone web site. Do not remove the friends list allowing or will affect your current playing of Farm Town through Facebook until the switch happens. |
I am closing this thread because it has gotten off topic. If you wish to know information concerning the registration for the stand alone web site then please first read all the information in the announcement and the current release. If you need help with the registration please post in the Help & Support thread concerning the registration.

not secure
I have noticed that slashkey.com/forum and slashkey.com/farmtown both have !not secure at the head of the url in the address bar. I am concerned that we will be vulnerable to hackers once we leave Facebook. I hope Slashkey will be addressing this. I am not sure how a hacker could benefit from messing with our farms. I think some might do it just for the fun of it.

The forums have never been secure in all these years. Most forums are not secured to allow any one (including players who have not registered) to view the posts in it like the release threads without having to register and log in. That is why we do not want you to put your email address in any post here. Your email address in your user profile here is not viewable by anyone other than adminstrators of the forum. So you are secure. The website being worked on will be secure and has the https in the address when it is released for you to use. It is not ready yet for you to use. |
How secure is the new Farmtown.com website?

I moved your post to the General Feedback thread about this. As the link to your farms will be an https protocal link then it is secure. When you play Farm Town on Facebook it is also secured with the https protocals. The website for Farm Town will be secure when they release it for use. |
