Hi, I have a super neighbour who can't access my tools. They have been given full permission for everything and for all farms, but still she can't access my tools.

I have also set access to each farm and haven't been able to find how to set it for all farms, so if I have to be online for her to work my other farms.

Hi, I need some help. I am confused.:confused:
I friended a farmer via facebook. I thought I could retrieve her in my farmers list to send a neighbour request. But she is not in that list. I cleared memcache, because in the old version this helped in case you had new facebook friends.
Now, how can I send her a neighbour request? Sorry, I couldn't figure it out by myself.:confused:

Hi Palmarina :)

Please remember that if you added that person as friend in Facebook after Facebook disabled the game, then there is no way for the game to get your current Facebook list.
You could share your farm link with that friend via Facebook chat and when you both meet in the farm, then you could add each other as Neighbors.

How have you set access to each farm for your super neighbor?

The settings can be made in the super neighbor manager for all farms. That is located in your tool box in the far left column 2nd from the bottom.
The individual settings for them would be to go to their block in the neighbor bar and click on them. In the menu that opens is an Edit Super Neighbor. That is where you allow them to do specific work.
If those don't allow her to use your tools try removing them as super neighbor and then re-adding them.

How can I work a neighbors facilities if they have already dropped off the Wall? I used to be able to visit their face book page and work them, but that is no longer an option.

The developers are looking into it. You should only be seeing no more than 2 posts from any individual as it is set to drop off any older ones when they repost.

Thank you I have only been using the Edit Super Neighbour I forgot about the other place.

Hi, I have gone back and checked everything and found that each box has been ticked and they still can't access any of my tools and or other farms unless I am online and go and set each one.

Hi Allykat,
What are you trying to get them to do? If you are wanting them to design you can only set them up for designing on 1 farm at a time.

What tools are you wanting them to be able to use? If it is farming tools click on their avatar, then click to hire them. On the first pop up is a box to check to allow using your tools. Then click the green check in that pop up. You do not have to comeplete the next box.


Also you need to have your tools in your storage for your super neighbor to be able to use them.

Thank you it was the tools in storage I kept them on a farm to save space in storage.

You are not saving any space in the storage because those tools do not take any of the spaces in your storage. Look at what your storage is at now, then add 1 tool to storage. Check the number again and you will see it did not change.

If you are talking about the red dot that is the farm they have you set up for designing.

I have a number of people who have quit playing for whatever reason and one that I have blocked on FB. I went through the removing myself, removing them and yet they are still showing up. I have 2 people that have never played the game showing up (I'm close friends with them personally) and yet they are showing as tho they played at some point. Is there something I can do to minimize these non-players? They are showing up as ppl to send gifts, etc. to also. Thanks. I should add, too, there are 3-4 of them that are 2nd accounts (have no idea who they belong to). Thanks again!!

Which list are you looking in?

If you are looking at the Facebook Friends List section of Famers List, it shows the friends you had that played at some point in the last year prior to leaving Facebook that still had you as their neighbour or buddy.

You can't remove anyone from showing up on the Facebook Friends List and that list can no longer update with any changes you made since we left Facebook. That section may well be removed at a later date or the ability to delete added in the future.

On the 2 people that you say have never played the game, what Active date are you seeing showing for them? Could they have ever send you a gift or ingredients in the past year when the game was still on Facebook?

Hi Tiger -- Thanks for the info -- will keep my fingers crossed that I can eventually delete these non-playing second accounts (that's what I think these are - they came over from the FB transition). These are all under FB Friends and I have them as "non-neighbor/buddy". The reason I know these 2 ppl do not play is that one of them I live with; and the other we've been friends since high school and a number of us (classmates) have tried to get her to play but nope. Anyway, with the last "play date" those, it shows the one as last active on June 18th at Level 1; the other one shows July 12 and Level 1. The really odd thing with some of these people it will show 1 farm (this is on 3-4 ppl) with 12 fields, the white fence and 3 trees -- the exact same farm. Strange. If you or the devs can figure it out, thanks!! I will just have to try to weed them out or keeps sending them stuff.

Neighbors and how to delete
 

I have several ex farmtown neighbors who havent consistently played in a long time. I went to facebook and unfriended them but they still show up on slashkey as MANAGE. I dont send them anything and I dont work any posts they may have. But yet there they always are on SENDING GIFTS and POSTS. How do I permanently get rid of them? Hope this makes some sense. I cant be the only one frustrated with this. Thanks:(

I moved your post to the thread about neighbors. As long as you have removed them as neighbors and yourself as their neighbor that is all you can do.

What you are describing that is on their farm is the very basics you start out with. The crops will have died if they didn't go as far as setting up the avatar and then harvesting the few crops that were there. Those that did not register to play on the website won't be able to play it.

When it comes to sending gifts you can if you wish use the other filters other than All Farmers to send to specific types of farmers. I really wouldn't worry about the few that you have that aren't playing getting gifts as those gifts will automatically get deleted as they reach 60 days old.

The whole point of the Facebook Friends list was to help with those who had not made the connections in game with friends as a neighbour or buddy yet and it was encouraged for many months prior to leaving FB to get this done as soon as possible while things like first names and profile pictures could still be matched to Facebook friends at that time. It does not take into account who may or may not have registered to play on the website and could not, as far too many left it far too late to register and start playing there. However the list may well have included anyone that was invited to play as well.

Those that left it very late to register or may not have been playing on the website until they could no longer play on FB may still need those lists for now while they get used to the differences between what was possible on FB and what is different on the website.

Why are we not earning exp. and a percentage of crops or cash as we work for buddies and neighbors. At the moment it is killing our ability to help out lower level players by putting them in as our SN's. Considering our player base is somewhat restricted for the moment, we need these people to have a chance at earning points and cash too.

This explains why SN quit working for you. Why do all the work when there is absolutely no reward. This started happening in the last update before we moved off Facebook.

If you are talking about the Bonus Chest, that is only for strangers hired at market. Neighbors, buddies and Super Neighbors do not receive it.

The only way for a Super Neighbor to get cash is by plowing and/or Planting your farms. They get xp for those jobs so they can level up their own accounts and get cash for every level they got.

For harvested crops, they do not get xp, they get 25% of the selling price of that crop and 10% of the crop they harvested.

The problem is that THEY have YOU as a neighbor or buddy, so they are sending you gifts.

I learned that the "Manage" is a new link that allows you to add them if you'd like.

But, unless you send them messages directly to TELL THEM that you don't want any gifts from them, you can't stop them from sending stuff TO you. Just because we delete people as neighbors doesn't mean they deleted us, and it's also very possible to be someone's buddy but they are not yours.

You CAN always Block them, also. I think that will stop them from having you as a neighbor/buddy or sending you stuff.

With the updates to how many neighbors you can have, when can we add more super-neighbors?

As far as we know the limit for superneighbors has not changed, you can have about 20 according to their id number lengh.

there is a problem with the farmers list,,, when i on my other accounts and sort by 'last active' i have noticed that this my main account keeps showing at the bottom as not having been active since Aug 5th, but I am on it daily, and do everything with it except ships,, it been like this for awhile thought it would eventually fix but it hasn't yet so I figured i best report it ....

Could it be that you have both acounts open at the same time so they are not updated correctly?

ran the memcache, log out, logged back in,, it is still incorrect, worried that if an account that is mine is wrong that others wrong too and i do not want to drop someone from my neighbors or buddies for inactivity if they are not really inactive .... is this a fixable problem ..... I do see another one not mine but i know the person it belongs to also in that case says inactive since 8-20 yet she just posted her facilities the other day and I get gifts from her nearly daily ...... i even check the browser too but it across browsers and accounts they all have me not active since 8-5 .... gulp help .....

Please check if your time (hour, minutes, AM/PM) and date (day, month, year) are correct in your computer.

Iv been trying to delete some buddies its crazy having all these as facility's are empty in seconds and my old neighbors and buddies are missing out its not fair we just dont need all of them the buddies that have me i dont have them so cant delete from my farm and i have one i keep deleting them from my farm and thers yet she keeps coming back i have deleted her from Facebook too how do i get rid,thanks

Is she coming back asa neighbor/buddy or just showing up still in the friends list?
If it is just she is in the friends list that li8st will not update since we have left Facebook and there isn't any way for it to be updated. That list will eventually be removed.
