why does the arrow above the log truck with chainsaw still there, even tho I own them all, doesn't go away like all the others

It is only a minor oversight that the developers apparently missed when they set that up. It doesn't interfere with anything else.

It has "popped up" at least a dozen times in the past 5 minutes even tho I just updated my warehouse and am in the trade market. Clicking the red x doesn't seem to make it stop.

Please try clearing your memcache (link below), then when the page of unsetting text opens close that as it is done.
If your farm is open close it. Then reopen and see if it changes how many times you get it.

I hope you can give us enough notice so we can plant long day crops and not short hour crops. Am I to assume this 1-10 hr shutdown will be the 31st? Or Nov 1st?

You know as much as we do. We do not know yet what day it will happen. The developers will give us ample notice so you can plan your crops accordingly.

In the past when a notice of impending shut down is posted it has been done after 10 p.m. (my time) to inform me of a shut down to begin at 5 or 6 a.m. (my time). Problem with this is that I go to bed at 9 pm and get up at 5 a.m. so all my advance notice is during the time I am asleep.

I am wondering... why can I sometimes create offers over and over when I am in the trading marketplace. (Regular products). I am there now and have posted all 5 categories at least 3 times each in approx. 10 minutes?

Yes, thank you Taz. Guess I am lucky? Not complaining, just wondering why my experience is not matching what the guide says. I have had this happen 4-5 times in the past 7 days, usually around 2100 - 2359 CST. I cleared memcache last night as you suggested and that fixed the popup message from constantly "popping up".

I am not sure though you did say it was over a 3 hour period, so you may have created te first close to the end of a trading period and the next at the beginning of the next trading period. Not sure how you got the third one that quick though.

Thank you so much for the new stuff, extensions and the added levels. It sure helps us on fixed incomes enjoy our game! I hope you will let us know in plenty of time about the dates for the downtime. I don't know what I will do. I guess I'll have to clean house or something..ugh! Will our crops spoil??

The developers have told us they will give us 1 or 2 days notice before the transfer happens, so you can plant accordingly.

Will we have any warning of the " final moment of the switch"?

We don't know any more than that. As for crops don't plant any short term crops when you know it will be down. Longer term crops won't go to waste that quick.

Thank You." just appeared above my game, I live in Australia and its October 30th tomorrow.. currently 7.02pm October 29... so the question is... is this USA time? as the USA is a day behind us... :)

Is it 4pm DST or 3pm EST....
 

The banner at the top of the game says 4pm EST, but EST doesn't start until Sunday. Is this just a typo or is it meant for the true EST?:confused:

It means Eastern Standard Time for U.S.A

The eastern USA is on DAYLIGHT saving time and not standard until about 2am this coming Sunday. 4pm Eastern Standard Time is just over an hour from this writing and at this time it is 1 minute to 4 DAYLIGHT SAVING... And only a couple states never change their clocks. Slashkey's home of Florida is NOT one of them. What the other farmer is asking is whether the announcement meant was EDST since we are still using EDST and not EST except for on trains for another few more days!

I moved your post to the release thread as thgis is current. You have as much information as we know. There is nothing else we can tell you. How long depends on how quickly the database files can be copied over to the new servers and if there are any problems.
