We are happy to announce that with this update we have completed the migration of the game to the Unity/HTML5 platform, only a few bugs pending to be fixed in future releases.

In the coming months we will start focusing on adding new features and other improvements to the game.

In this update we released new content like farm expansions, facilities and 2 new Turbo facilities and also migrated old features to the new version of the game.

The section below shows the details on the new content released:

1. 8 St. Patrick decorations (released a week ago).

2. Next 54 x 54 farm expansions for Farms 16 through 30: They cost 50 FarmCash or 70000000000 Coins.

3. Turbo Oil Refinery (FC): This is a new facility that produces 3 times More Crude Oil Derivatives than the current Oil Refinery.

4. Turbo Rubber Factory (FC): This is a new facility that produces 3 times More Rubber Sheets than the current Rubber Factory.

5. Other Improvements:

a) Added a dropdown to the 'Show Names' -> 'Show Work Info' screen with time frame intervals so you can see exactly how many of each plant will be ready or gone to waste within that time period

b) When removing farmers from your neighbours and buddies there is a new checkbox in the popup to allow you to remove yourself from that farmer neighbours or buddies list

c) Bugfix: When viewing a Trading Warehouse the current selected section switches unexpectedly to the other section if another farmer trades you a product

d) Bugfix: Real names not showing in your offline message list screen

6. New Arugula Crop: Used in the new Artisan Pizza Shop.

7. Artisan Pizza Shop (FC): Produces Artisan Pizza.

Note: New products from other facilities: Green Ink in the Ink and Pigments Factory.

9. Artificial Turf Installers (Coins): Provides Artificial Turf Installation Services and can be stocked with products from the Artificial Turf Supplies.

The section below shows the details about old features migrated to the new version:

• Enabled the Facility Chains
• Enabled the Custom Order sort option in the Facility Manager

Post Release Updates - March 28th, 8:20PM

- Added Belt/Dan icons to the Facility screen
- Bugfix: Some users were experiencing errors when deleting Factory Facility Chains
- Bugfix: Wasted crops not being considered when showing available plowing jobs in the Show Work Info screen or when hiring other farmers to plow

Post Release Updates - April 2nd, 1:30AM

- Released 15 Easter decorations, 11 at the top of the Easter category at the Store and 4 at the bottom.

Post Release Updates - May 2nd, 3:50PM

- Released 10 new Mothers Day decorations, 2 as gifts, 7 at the top of the Mothers Day category at the Store and 1 at the bottom.

There should be an update with what works and what doesn't before they release. They are working still on this to get as much done as they can, so it is constantly changing as they work.

I've followed this thread daily....multiple times daily and have tried to not say so very much because I'm aware that there are people behind the scenes working their butts off however, it IS coming up on NY Eve and I believe the players....even the patient ones, are getting a bit on edge. We're not counting days or weeks any more. We are counting hours. A small tidbit of info would calm us all down........well, most of us I think. ;)

just wondering if Raul will post another update with it being so close? hope so and thanks for keeping the game on.

they are supposed to give us a list of what will work and will not work with the new game in the present time. Some stuff will come later but no one has any clue on what. It has been said plow/plant/harvest will work. Facilities won't work. What about SN? Will we be able to work each others farms? Lots of unknowns:confused:

It's not always an easy process switching from one software to another. But, in time, all will be back to normal. You and your team's dedication and hard work is very much appreciated.

Farming since March 23, 2009

As I do not have new facilities for the NCC after I got my prizes, I am assuming that it is because of the migration but I cannot find anything advising us that it has finished for the time being. Is it possible to find out is my assumption is correct please.

Hi...Im not going to read through 100's of posts...but I will say....southern hemishpere ...5 hours to go before flash goes...meanwhile...back on the farm in the northern hemisphere still have a day to go...would be nice to know if I wake up in the morning will I even have a farmtown left to go to ...there is a time zone outside of the good old USA.

Will we be able to access Farm Town after January 1, 2021, without using the Facebook App?

So you've had 30 months and are STILL not ready to fully transition?

Will we get the rest by 2022, 2023, 2024?

I have to agree with you. I've been around quite a few forums and they are all the same. You got the ones that are NEVER satisfied and complain ALL THE TIME.........lol......I could never be a moderator. It's not in me to be polite to those who are not polite to me.........Not everybody can do what Taz D and the others do. I am just going to sit back now and wait for 2020 to go far far away and hope that 2021 is better. I have faith that the game folks are doing their best.

Facebook is the platform for the game, so you have to log into Facebook in order to be able to play. :)

Thank you Facebook team Moderators and designers for all the work you are putting in to this migration - hearing rumours that some are selling/emptying their facilities - is it necessary to do this? A very Happy New Year to you all from one Happier bunny than she was over Christmas, being in Tier 4 is not fun

As Raul said, facilities will not be available for a time, so if you want to empty them it is ok. All products stored will not be missing after the migration and you will find them in your storage as usual.

with the hands will be the purple hand be made available or is that gone for a few weeks? there is several different speculations

Up now the hands available are the orange and green ones. But we have to wait for Raul to know if the purple hand will be available from the beginning or after a time.

Will the super neighbour function be working during the chnage over or is that one of the functions we may need to wait for

We appreciate all you've done this year but the question remains, today is the last day of the year; is it working now. I have two nieces that haven't been able to play in over a month because of chrome disabling flash. I feel bad for them; it will almost be like starting over; crops ruined, no new Christmas stuff. You know, normal farmer worries. Please actually let us know when we all can enjoy our game again. Happy New Year and pray it's better than 2020!!

I use chrome and I am still playing today.

There were ways to let you play in Chrome that are here in the forums, so they could have been still playing for this month. What Chrome did was disable the Farm Town Flash Enabler plugin, so you had to manually tell Chome to enable Flash each session.

Well I saw a few days ago that factories will be down, and now would be a good time to stock up on supplies since we will be able to plant, harvest, do trees and flowers and also fish. So I started loading my factories as many times a day as I could and selling the products from the service facilities so I could build up money to buy seeds with. Hope everyone else did the same thing.

From what I read, Flash will no longer work after Jan. 12. Will we have an HTML version to run by that date?

It won't work on mine. I even tried for them but it's a no-go. I also re-downloaded flash but to no avail.

When is it happening, that is really the question?

It will be an adventure..remember 2009 one crop per click ......its a game, one many of us have played for 11yrs.. Let's look on the next step as an adventure and just roll with it...Que Sera Sera

How do we play Farmtown after today?

As far as we know Adobe has communicated that Flash will be disabled on January 12, so if you didnt delete flash we think you will be able to continue playing till the migration is done.

My husband had mentioned the mid January date and I was wondering about it. Good news as the game has been so comforting during these trying times. Excellent news. Happy New Year Mary and devs!

The December 23, 2020 Migration announcement says "We already completed all the features that will be released in the restricted version of the game before the end of the year," .. In Australia the day and date is Friday 1/1/2021, but the HTML5 version of the game has not been released yet.

As you know Farm Town is a US based game, so therefore the end of the year is different for the game.

Amen to that..... and I agree.

This has been an 11+ year adventure for sure. Newer players have no idea how far this game/hobby has come with many thanks to the Devs and many great Mods over those 11 years.

Be patient.... be thankful... and we will enjoy it all again.
